How your files are handled
The short version
Your file is opened by your own browser, processed on your own device, and saved back to your device. It isn't sent to our server or anyone else's.
Signatures, logos and text
Signatures you draw, type or upload, logos you add, and text you paste or type into a tool are handled the same way. They stay in your browser tab, we never receive them, and we don't save them. They're gone when you close the tab.
What does reach our server
Your browser downloads the page, the tool code and fonts, as it does for any website. Logs record those requests. They don't contain your files, file names or contents.
Check it yourself
Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and run a tool. You'll see the code being loaded, and no upload.
When you close the tab
Your file is held in the browser's memory only while the page is open. Closing or reloading the tab clears it.
If this ever changes
Future tools that need a server, such as OCR, will say so clearly before you start, and existing browser tools will stay in the browser.
