A PDF to PNG converter for sharp edges
PNG is lossless, so thin lines and small letters stay crisp. That's why it's the better choice for charts, floor plans, slides and screenshots of documents. For photos, JPG gives you a much smaller file with no visible difference.
What DPI do you need?
72 DPI is fine for a quick look on screen. 150 DPI works for most slides and web pages. 300 DPI is the one to pick for printing or zooming in, and 600 DPI suits fine print and small diagrams. Each step up makes files several times bigger. Very large pages are capped at about 40 megapixels so the browser doesn't run out of memory.
Formats and limits
The tool reads any standard PDF up to 300 MB, or 100 MB on a phone. Password-protected PDFs need the password removed first. A long document at 300 DPI takes a while and uses a lot of memory, so try 150 DPI first on a phone.
Questions people ask
Does this work on scanned PDFs?
Yes. A scanned page is already an image inside the PDF, so it converts like any other page.
Are form fields and annotations included?
Filled-in form fields and visible comments are drawn into the image.
Can I pick only certain pages?
Yes. Tap them in the page thumbnails, or type them, such as 2, 5-7.
