How to convert EPUB to PDF

  1. Add your .epub file.
  2. Pick the page size, text size and margins, then press Start.
  3. Download the PDF. Long books can take a little while.

What carries over from EPUB to PDF

You get the book text in reading order, with chapter headings, bold and italics, lists, quotes and JPG or PNG pictures. Pages are laid out in a clean, book-sized format with a readable serif font, or in A5, A4 or US Letter if you prefer. The original fonts, colors and decoration are not kept, because an EPUB doesn't have fixed pages to copy.

Languages this tool can set

Latin, Greek and Cyrillic text works, and so does Arabic, set right to left. Chinese, Japanese and Korean aren't supported yet. If a book has characters we can't draw, the tool tells you once it's finished.

Formats and limits

It takes .epub files up to 200 MB. GIF and SVG pictures are skipped, and we'll warn you when that happens. Books locked with DRM can't be converted. That includes most titles bought from big stores, because those files are encrypted.

Questions people ask

Why does my book say it's DRM protected?

The publisher or store encrypted the file. We can't read it, and we don't try to remove that protection.

Can I print the PDF?

Yes. Choose A4 or US Letter before you start, and it prints at full size. With the book size, choose Fit to page in your print dialog.

Will links in the book work?

Not yet. Text is preserved, but internal and web links aren't clickable in the PDF.
