How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Add your PDF.
  2. Tap the pages to remove, or type them, for example 2, 5-7.
  3. Press Start and download the shorter PDF.

Remove the pages you don't need

Blank scans, cover sheets and outdated sections just get in the way. List them, and you get a new PDF without them. Your original file isn't touched, so you can always start again.

Writing page numbers

Separate pages with commas and use a dash for a range: 1, 3, 10-12. Use 8- to remove from page 8 to the end. Numbers count the actual pages of the file, starting at 1, which may differ from the numbers printed on the pages.

Formats and limits

It handles standard PDFs up to 300 MB. A PDF has to keep at least one page, so you can't remove them all.

Questions people ask

Can I undo it?

Your original file stays as it was. Only the download has the pages removed.

Is deleted content really gone?

The pages are left out of the new file, along with anything only they used. A PDF can share data between pages, so for very sensitive pages, also run Flatten PDF in Everything mode, which rebuilds each page as an image.

Does the file get smaller?

Usually, unless the removed pages were only text.
