Merge PDF files without uploading them
Contracts, statements and ID scans are exactly the kind of thing you'd rather not send to a stranger's server. Here, your browser joins the files itself. If you're curious, open your browser's network panel while it runs: no file goes out.
What stays the same after merging
Page content, sizes and rotation are kept. Form fields, bookmarks and links inside a document, such as a table of contents, may not survive, so check the result if your files have those. Pages go in the order shown on the page board, including any you've turned, and nothing extra is added.
Formats and limits
You can merge up to 50 PDFs, each up to 300 MB and 500 MB in total. On a phone, it's 25 PDFs and 200 MB in total. Above 1,500 pages in all, the page thumbnails are switched off and files are joined in list order. Password-protected files need the password removed first.
Questions people ask
Can I reorder pages, not just files?
Yes. Every page shows as a thumbnail. Drag it anywhere, even between files, turn it, or remove it.
Is there a watermark?
No. Nothing is added to your document.
Why did one file fail?
It's probably password protected or damaged. Try opening it in a PDF reader first.
