How to rearrange PDF pages

  1. Add your PDF and wait for the page thumbnails.
  2. Drag pages into order, or use the arrows.
  3. Press Start and download your new PDF.

Reorder PDF pages by dragging or tapping

On a computer, drag any thumbnail. On a phone, hold the grip at the top of a page and drag it, or tap the arrows, which also work from the keyboard. The bold number is the new position, and the label below shows where that page started.

When you'd want to rearrange a PDF

Sheet feeders can scan a stack back to front, and reports often need an appendix moved up. Reverse order flips the whole file in one click, which fixes a back-to-front scan.

What stays the same

Pages keep their text, images, web links and size, and nothing is compressed again. Only the order changes, plus any turns or removals you choose. Bookmarks, fillable form fields and links inside the document, such as a table of contents, may not survive, because the file is rebuilt page by page.

Organize PDF files beyond page order

Need to organize PDF pages further? Remove the ones you don't need with Delete PDF pages, pull out a section with Extract PDF pages, or combine files first with Merge PDF. This tool takes files up to 300 MB, or 100 MB on a phone, and thumbnails load as you scroll.

Questions people ask

Will reordering lower the quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are.

Can I reorder pages from two PDFs together?

Yes, in Merge PDF. It shows every page from all your files on one board, so you can mix them freely.

Can I delete pages here too?

Yes. Each page has a bin button to remove it and a button to turn it.

Does dragging work on a phone?

Yes. Drag by the grip at the top of each page, so normal scrolling still works everywhere else.
