How to sign a PDF without printing it
Open Sign PDF, add your file, draw, type or upload your signature, drag it into place, press Start and download. This adds a visual signature, not a certified one.
Get a clean signature
To use your real one, sign with a dark pen on white paper and take the photo in daylight, straight on. On a phone, drawing with a finger also works well if you sign large and let the tool shrink it.
Place it well
Drag the signature onto the line and use the corner handle to resize it. For contracts that need initials on each page, go page by page and press Add to this page.
When a visual signature isn't enough
Courts, banks, tenders and government forms may ask for a certified digital signature. If the document says so, use a certified service. Our guide to electronic and digital signatures explains the difference.
