Troubleshooting
Most problems come from a password, a scanned PDF, or a phone running out of memory. Each has a simple fix.
This PDF is password protected
Open the file in a PDF reader, enter the password, and print or save it to a new PDF without one. Then try again. We can't open locked files.
We couldn't read this file
The file may be damaged, or its name may not match its contents. Try opening it in another app. If it fails there too, download a fresh copy.
This file is too big for your device
Close other tabs and apps and try again. On a phone, pick lower quality or fewer files. A computer usually handles what a phone can't.
This PDF has no text
It's a scan, so the words are part of a picture. Text tools need OCR, which we don't offer yet. Image tools such as PDF to JPG still work.
My PDF didn't get smaller
Compression works on images. If your file is mostly text and fonts, there's little to remove. Deleting pages you don't need may help more.
I can't type in my PDF form
The form has no fields: it's a printed page saved as a PDF. Open Add text to PDF, put a text box on each line and type your answers.
My JPG looks blurry
In PDF to JPG, raise the DPI to 300 or move Quality from 90 toward 100. For thin lines and small print, PDF to PNG stays sharper. A scanned page can't come out sharper than the scan itself.
