Make a grayscale image from any color picture. We use the way our eyes see brightness, so it looks natural.

Why our grayscale image doesn't look flat

Green looks brighter to us than blue, so a simple average looks wrong. We weigh colors the way the eye does, which keeps skin and skies natural.

Good for print and forms

Some documents must be black and white, and a grayscale file can use less color ink, depending on your printer.

Formats and limits

Up to 50 files work in one go. Each can be 100 MB, and the whole batch 300 MB, or 25 files on a phone. JPG, PNG and WEBP keep their format. Other formats save as PNG.
