Shapes for common jobs

Square and circle are for profile pictures. Use 4:5 for portrait posts and 9:16 for stories and reels. 16:9 fits video thumbnails and slides, and 4:3 or 3:2 fit presentations and photo prints. A circle crop is saved as PNG with see-through corners.

Crop on your phone

The handles are sized for fingers, and the page won't scroll while you're dragging. On a keyboard, the arrow keys move the box. For an exact size, type the position, width and height in pixels.

Formats and limits

One image at a time, up to 100 MB. JPG, PNG and WEBP keep their format. Other formats save as PNG.
