Resize image

Resize an image by percentage, or to an exact width and height. It keeps its shape unless you choose to crop or stretch it.

Drop your files here

Accepted: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .webp, .avif, .heic, .heif. Up to 50 files, 100 MB each, 300 MB in total.

Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.

How to resize an image

  1. Add your images.
  2. Choose a percentage, or type a width, a height or both.
  3. Press Start and download.

Resize or compress?

Resizing changes how many pixels an image has. Compressing reduces the file, and on stronger levels it can also shrink very large images. If an upload form has a limit in kilobytes, try Compress image first.

Common sizes

1200 pixels wide is plenty for most websites. 1080 suits social posts. Going larger than the original won't add detail.

Formats and limits

Up to 50 files work in one go. Each can be 100 MB, and the whole batch 300 MB, or 25 files on a phone. You can keep the format or save as JPG, PNG or WEBP. The result can be up to about 60 megapixels on a computer and 16 on a phone.

Questions people ask

Will the image be stretched?

No, unless you choose Stretch. Keep shape fits the image inside your size, and Crop to fill trims the edges.

Can I set exact width and height?

Yes. Type both, then choose how to fit: keep the shape, crop to fill, or stretch.

Can I make an image bigger?

Yes, up to 400%, though it will look softer.
