What an image DPI converter really does

DPI tells a printer how many pixels to place per inch. Changing it doesn't change how sharp the image is, only how large it prints. The pixels stay the same.

How big will it print?

Divide the pixels by the DPI. An image 3000 pixels wide prints 10 inches wide at 300 DPI. We show the print size of your image as you choose, and Print width works out the DPI for a size in centimeters or inches. To print large and sharp, you need a higher-resolution original.

Formats and limits

Up to 50 files work in one go. Each can be 100 MB, and the whole batch 300 MB, or 25 files on a phone. It works on JPG and PNG, and the image itself isn't re-compressed.
