Why PDF to EPUB helps on small screens
A PDF has fixed pages, so on an e-reader you end up zooming and dragging. An EPUB has no pages. The text flows to fit your screen and font size, which makes long reading far more comfortable.
What to expect from the result
Chapters are built from the big headings in your PDF, and paragraphs are joined back together. It works best on plain documents such as reports and novels. Only text comes across, so pictures, tables and page layout are lost. Magazines and multi-column layouts can come out out of order.
Formats and limits
It reads standard PDFs with real text, up to 300 MB. Scanned PDFs have no text to extract, so they won't work until we offer OCR.

Will this work with my e-reader?
The result is a standard EPUB 3 file, the format most e-readers and reading apps use.
Why are the images missing?
This version only moves text. Keep the PDF if the pictures matter.
Why did my scanned book fail?
A scan is a picture of pages, with no text inside. OCR would be needed, and we don't offer it yet.
