How to pixelate an image

  1. Add your image.
  2. Move the strength slider.
  3. Press Start and download.

How to pixelate image files, and how it works

The picture is divided into squares, and each one is filled with its average color. A higher strength means bigger squares.

Hiding details safely

Choose Inside the areas and draw a box over each face, plate or number. Use a high strength, because weak pixelation can sometimes be reversed. For very sensitive text, a solid box in an editor is safer still.

Formats and limits

It'll take 50 files, 100 MB each and 300 MB in all. On phones the limit is 25 files. JPG, PNG and WEBP keep their format. Other formats save as PNG.
